Lot’s to say!
It’s been a great news year for Godzilla 1998 compared to that of other years, we’ve got word of a Godzilla 2 film and Godzilla 1998 on Blu-Ray. To add maybe just a little bit to the news Godzilla 2 the Fan Fiction is moving along great and there is a new YouTube account (WIDF News) posting rare and some high quality content that relates to Godzilla 98’.

Big changes and Big Ideas!
For those still confused, I thought I would first mention before this news post gets any longer. That when you see Godzilla 2 Trailers or Advertisements please realize that those are for “Godzilla 2: The Fan Fiction”, not an actual sequel, spoof, or film but just simply, the official fan fiction sequel to the 1998 film: “Godzilla”. The purpose of this is to take the place as a unofficial sequel to the film, and add some cool promotions to it.
Now onto the bigger news, as of today the Message Boards are shut down due to lack of activity. However, if you would like to see the forums back up please E-mail me. If you or anyone else wants to see a community for the fans of The Series or The Film, please don’t hesitate and E-mail me your thoughts. It would be nice for a change to have all the fans in one spot instead of scattered across the net, isolated.
Even larger news, is the upgrades that will be done to the site. I cannot begin to stress just how far behind the site is on errors and updates. Over the next month, major changes will be made to pages and even the look will change. Another thing that will go is all of the videos instead of being hosted by the site will be hosted by YouTube.

SIGN THE PETITON FOR A GODZILLA COMMUNITY
I think it’s safe to say there are enough of us out there to make a community. Imagine what it would be like to go to and see all of the fans together, not scattered across the web but online on a site that we can all call home. For those interested please sign the petition and let’s get a forum made for the fans. Please spread the word around. Even if you’re not a GTS,Zilla,Godzilla 1998 fan but you would like a site that was welcoming and include all Godzilla sign. If you want a message board community please sign this petition immediately.
Godzilla 2012 & Godzilla 1998’s 12th Anniversary
Finally, more news is starting to come in. On May 20th, 2020 which was on a Thursday, Godzilla 1998 turned 12! Time has gone by so fast since then. Still no word of sequel but there’s has been a lot of good that has come out In the last five years relating to Godzilla 98 for us fans.
And last but not least, not to be confused with After Dusk Studio’s “Godzilla 2” fan fiction. Legendary Pictures has announced it has bought the rights from Toho for another Godzilla Re-make. Earlier this month some pictures surfaced of what was thought to be the new Godzilla design, but was denied by Legendary Pictures and Warner Brothers. This may not be the sequel to Godzilla 1998 that some of us hoped for but maybe it will be better than any Godzilla movie to yet.
